Deloitte has worked with experts around the world to demonstrate the future development of digitalised hospitals, including the introduction of AI and digital technologies to enhance the patients’ experiences; Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and artificial intelligence to allow nurses to spare more time for caring, and with the improved technology to enhance the operational efficiency.
 
ASTRI has launched several breakthrough developments in healthcare or medical technology every year, including ballistocardiogram to assist in heart monitoring and to measure heart rate and respiration rate via non-invasive monitoring; healthcare and elderly care application via IoT Sensor Technologies.
 
In terms of education technology, there is an AIoT (AI+IoT) system in future classrooms that establishes personalised education plans for students with special educational needs (SEN). The multimodal data from smart sleeve, environmental sensor, and tablet are collected by the SEN Data Analytics System and sent to AI for data fusion and analysis. In addition, we digitalised Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to enhance the effectiveness of learning, allowed behaviour therapists to guide SEN students to complete different pieces of training, recorded and analysed the learning performance, and became “trainee teachers” to educate the children. For gifted students, we have newly designed affective computing for the education system, which analyses students’ engagement, motivation, concentration, etc., through the facial expressions of classmates and logging of online learning activities.
