ASTRI‘s FinTech Future Leader Academy offers the interns opportunities to get an in-depth look at FinTech development and gain insights into the industry through field visits to Hong Kong’s leading financial organisations. We are excited to share that our interns’ first week of field visits to our partners have been incredibly successful. They gained a lot of insight about the FinTech industry from Bank of China (Hong Kong), the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), the HKSTP – Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, IBM, and Ping An OneConnect Bank (Hong Kong) Limited.
 
In addition to touring these organisations, our interns were able to dive deep into the digital transformation of financial services, which is being propelled by AI, machine learning, and advanced cryptography, among other technologies. They also learned about various career opportunities that are emerging alongside the advent of FinTech. Surely, with more young talents and a more vibrant industry, Hong Kong is bound to thrive even more as an international financial centre!
