Last week, Mr. Alan Cheung, Senior Director of ASTRI, was invited to attend a #FinTech seminar organized by CUHK Business School, with the topic “Fintech-Banking Collaboration Using Open API – A Glimpse At Mainland And Hong Kong”. ASTRI’s Open Banking API Portal Connecting TSP to Bank Systems targets to provide a unified API interface to third-party service providers (#TSP) to access various bank systems with the authorization of bank clients.
Mr. Cheung introduced how the technology can provide a secured environment for the related parties to access the Open API, as well as how a commercial bank can benefit from this tool. Mr. Terry Chan, Senior Manager of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and Mr. Andrew Lim, Head of IT of Hang Seng China were also on the panel.
